

Chef Carol worked her magic in our new kitchen last week (the 12th).
The day started with Carol and Mark taking a field trip to Litteri's, down off New York Avenue. They cleaned the place out! Fresh mortadella with real chunks of pistachio, proscuitto -- paper thin, salami, and at least six kinds of olives, several wines, ... you get the idea. To top off all those goodies, Carol brought fresh veggies and herbs from her co-op.
Then Carol and I spent the next 5 1/2 hours standing -- Carol making ravioli and linguine -- me mostly watching. Man, were my legs sore the next day!
Carol's friend Scott joined us, as did Mark's boss, his partner, another co-worker and her husband. We ate, drank, and were merry!
